During the convention fans can stop by the Optimus Replica booth and get a first-hand look at the detail that was put into the creation of this Optimus Prime replica. Star Trek DS9: Aron Eisenberg

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (DS9) ran seven seasons during the peak of the re-launched Star Trek television franchise from 1993-1999 and had an overlapping run with Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Voyager. Eisenberg’s character, “Nog”, featured heavily in the show with a compelling character arc: especially in the later seasons. He also featured as a guest star on an episode of Star Trek Voyager.

As well as requiring extensive prosthetics and makeup to get into character, the Ferengi in Star Trek are often portrayed by actors who are short in stature. Eisenberg’s growth was stunted at five feet during his teenage years because of a malfunctioning kidney that required a transplant. Eisenberg was already in his mid 20s when he began performing Nog on DS9. Recently, the actor received a second successful kidney transplant.
